My kids love books, they love to be read to, even the baby...especially the baby...having someone read to him has always been soothing and calming for him. Children enjoy hearing our voices, the closeness of being held and read to, the stories that are told, the pictures in the stories. I always loved being read to by my mother when I was a child, it is super important to read to children and often.
