Babo Botanicals UV Conditioning Spray Review

Photobucket

During these hot summer months many of us are doing what we can to protect our children from the sun and UV rays by means of sunscreen and protective clothing. I recently discovered an all natural UV hair and scalp protecting spray by Babo Botanicals. Their products are created with the highest quality organic botanical ingredients from an organic farm.

*Fun Fact: This brand was named after the founder’s son’s security bunny, Babo.

My Thoughts:
I have been using this product on my kiddos and their friends for a little over a month. I spray it on their hair and scalp for extra protection against the sun and chemicals from the pools. It is a lot easier and more convenient than trying to rub sunscreen on their scalps and it doesn’t cause build up. D’s hair seems to be staying pretty healthy despite all the swimming she does and this product has kept her scalp from burning/tanning. Now, I do use it on Baby Boys head even though he does wear a hat when he is outside…just some added protection to help ease my mind. As a detangler, it isn’t the best for D’s hair, she needs something more to get her tangles out, she does have thick curly locks, so to be fair I wanted to try it on her friends straight hair and it worked well as a detangler for her. Overall, I like the fact that it protects against the chlorine and UV rays and prevents the hair from completely drying out though all the fun in the sun and I love the all natural ingredients. Babo Botanicals has a great selection of all-natural hair and skin care products from babies and kids, I can’t wait to try their body washes and lotions.
